CHRISTMAS CARD

I LOVE CHRISTMAS CARDS!

This one was real easy. I used loads of glitter!

My husband said he thinks I feed him glitter... I told him not to be silly, glitter is much too expensive for that!

For years, I have glittered paper then sealed it with a glue or glaze to set in the glitter. When it's dry I die cut it. That is what the Sizzix diecut "Dress up Penguin's" little face & belly are cut from.

The Sizzix diecut word "JOY" is cut from glitter paper from
Target.

The Sizzix diecut Scallop card has been embossed with a Cuttlebug snowflake folder and I used Ice Sticles on the snowflakes, the cheeks and the beak. I used Polymark black gloss fabric paint on the eyes. Fabric paint works wonderful on paper. I used a Hobby Lobby Snowflake punch on the inside of the card.

MOTHER'S DAY CARD

I made this card for my sweet mother-in-law for Mother's Day. It matched the real potted flowers that we sent her.

The flowers are Cuttlebug die cuts and that I colored with water color crayons. The leaves are Sizzix die cuts cut in green. The green buds are Spellbinders, cut and glued together. The vase in made of a dark brown textured card stock and secured only with the ribbon. The inside of the card is off white cardstock had a gold embossed Mother's Day stamped on it (I took the pictures before I stamped!).

Flower Pot cards always turn out great no mater what kind of flower you use!

BOXED CARD SET #2
I recently made ten boxes of cards for our Altrusa Club convention. I came up with four different sets of cards. We gave them away as door prizes.

This is the second set of cards.

These are the tools and supplies I used to create this set of cards.

Cuttlebug Folders
Sizzix Circles Scallop #2 Die
Spellbinders Nestabilities Scallop Circles and Ovals Dies
Rubber Stamp-Calla Lily by Ducks in a Row
Rubber Stamp-Heart by Rubber Stampede
Rubber Stamp-Grapes (I do not know whose stamp this is, let me know if you do!)
Rubber Stamp-Berries (I do not know whose stamp this is, let me know if you do!)
Rubber Stamp-Small Butterfly by Inkadinkado
Rubber Stamp-Small Flower by Inkadinkado
Rubber Stamp-Dragonfly by Uptown Design
Rubber Stamp-Bee by Stampcraft
Rubber Stamp-Berry Branch by Magenta
Ranger Embossing Powder-clear & gold
H20's Water Colors (My Favorite!)
OFC card boxes (just decorate & fold-Love it, Love it!)
Staedtler Watercolor Crayons (My Favorite!)
Ice Stickles Glitter Glue
Textured Card Stock
Glue & Glue dots

I made three boxes of this set of cards - each had 8 cards, one each of 8 different colors & designs on medallion.
These card boxes were colored with the water color crayons. (Love those water color crayons!)
Then I pulled one card design to each box front, so the card boxes looked different from the outside, but they really had the same cards inside.
