BOXED CARD SET #3

I recently made ten boxes of cards for our Altrusa Club convention. I came up with four different sets of cards. We gave them away as door prizes. This is the third set.

These are the tools and supplies that I used making these boxes and cards.

Quickutz Flower & Chocolate Kiss dies, Sizzix Butterfly, Hawaiian Flower & Circle dies, Cuttlebug Flower die, OFC Card Boxes (just decorate & fold-up), Staedtler Water Color Crayons, Ice Stickles Glitter, Glue dots, & Ribbon.
#10 white envelopes and various printed paper.

I made two boxes of this set of cards - each had 6 cards, one each of 6 different designs.

The card boxes were colored with the water color crayons.
Then I pulled one card design to each box front, so the
card boxes looked different from the outside, but they really had the same cards inside!

Pink Embossed Large Candy Bar Card

This hidden treat was so easy to make! They made great Valentine cards for everyone.

This is a regular size candy bar.

I have used the hidden treat cards as wedding shower guest gifts as well.

I used smooth hot pink coverstock and embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder. Then I punched an upside down small heart (McGills) for the candy pull ribbon to go through. I used a more durable ribbon for the pull. Once the card was glued together I finished it with fancy ribbon and a Cuttlebug die flower with Ice Stickles center.

Bunny Candy Bar Card

This is a little treat card that I made family and co-workers for Easter. It uses the snack or small size Candy Bar.

I embossed the maroon paper with a Cuttlebug folder, cut it out and punched a hole at the top to make a bag tag. Then I attached it to the candy bar using staples (this candy bar had paper on both ends, sometimes you have to glue dot the candy bar to the tag if it doesn't).

I die cut the Bunny using the Sizzix Bunny with Flower out of brown smooth cardstock and colored him with Steadler Water Color crayons. I used black gloss fabric paint for his eyes and topped it with black sparkle fabric paint.

I used a Sizzix tag die to cut the ivory cardstock.

McGill daisy punches were used for all the flowers & glitter for their centers.

The word stamp is from The Stampin' Place and is stamped in black and embossed with clear powder.
